Shooting with analog cameras and making photos on film: A photography journey in Cambridge, and beyond.
Steve is a photographer from North East Hertfordshire who shoots with analogue cameras and makes photos on film. In this session, he takes us through his photography in and around Cambridge, and then further afield. He’ll also share his kit, tips, and techniques behind some beautiful photography.
Join Mark Baber, Sony UK & Ireland’s Photo Channel Technical Marketing Manager for a look at the E-Mount lens system from Sony. This webinar will cover how Sony lenses are created and also how G Master technology works. Mark will go through a number of lenses with hands-on demonstrations showcasing the latest Auto Focus technology found in the Alpha camera bodies. Sead also went on a model location shoot where he goes through setting up the camera for the best eye AF performance. This is a great opportunity to find out more about the Sony A7iii whether you are looking to tweak your settings or add new technology to your kit.

Lara Blake is a photographer based on the borders of Cambridgeshire and Norfolk. She has been on a journey of self-discovery from falling in, and out, of photography to find what really makes her heart sing. In this talk, Lara will share her story and experience to anyone wanting to find their true passion in photography.
In this presentation, Photographer and Author Glyn Dewis will discuss how, when unable to take Portraits during lockdowns, he began to experiment with other genres of photography from landscape to macro in a concerted effort to keep busy, keep creative and keep the tools in his hands. However, what was to be a temporary fix has become much more, now providing unlimited content and possibilities and with Glyn openly admitting that living with and adapting to restrictions, has made him a better Photographer and with added skillset.
In the depths of lockdown, Oggi Tomic was commissioned to shoot Rita Ora’s performances for a music festival that became virtual. As shoots go it was pretty demanding – filming nine songs twice each in full ProRes RAW with a greenscreen and a limited budget. Aided by behind the scenes photos and clips of the final footage Oggi will take you through the process from start to finish including planning kit selection and challenges plus the fresh demands of shooting on a moving boat the next day!
