This story reflects a favourite activity in the Landscape Group of Royston Photographic Society.
We choose local locations for members to visit & then share their pictures, thoughts & techniques.
We choose a location and define a route through it.
In this B1368 task, the suggestion was to drive the route, stopping every mile & finding a scene to capture within a few yards of the parking spot.
By far the biggest thrill of the activity is seeing the many different compositions & interpretations found by members who have, essentially, covered the same route but seen different scenes.
This simple concept & activity has proved hugely thought-provoking when viewing scenes of all types.
